Annual Art Fair Application
You are invited to apply to the 2026 Annual CLCU Art Fair hosted by the Craft League of Champaign-Urbana!
This free-to-attend event will feature 40+ juried artists, including League members and guest artists. With a loyal following and visitors from across Illinois, this show is a must-add to your calendar!

Location: Savoy Recreation Center

November 7-8, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM both days
Important Dates
Application Deadline: June 27, 2026
Jury Notification: July 20, 2026 (via email)
Payment Deadline: August 3, 2026
Refund Policy: No refunds after October 1, 2026
Exhibit Space
Booth Size: 10’ x 10’ in the gym and custom sizes in the annex.
Artists must supply their own display setup, including tables, chairs, and lighting.
Electricity is available for everyone.
Overnight security will be provided; the building will be locked after show hours.
All work and displays must stay within the assigned booth space.
Note: Do not infringe on adjacent spaces physically or audibly. For example:
Sitting in the aisle in front of your space
Extending obstructions beyond your booth boundaries
Set-Up Details
Limited unloading and set-up will be available Friday evening.
Full set-up hours for Friday and Saturday will be announced closer to the event.
Fees Members:
Jury Fee: $15 (non-refundable, due with application)
Booth Fee: $175
Non-Members:
Jury Fee: $25 (non-refundable, due with application)
Booth Fee: $200
Image Requirements
Submit 3–4 images of your artwork and a booth photo (maximum of 5 images).
CLCU 5 Year Members: Must submit at least one image, even if exempt from jurying.
Eligibility
All work must be original. Commercial kits, molds, patterns, plans, or prefabricated forms are not allowed.
Reproductions (e.g., offset, giclée, iris) must not exceed 25% of your work for sale and must be clearly labeled as reproductions.
Artists may apply in more than one medium (e.g., painting and jewelry) with a separate application required for each type.
Not Accepted: Handmade soaps, candles, lotions.
Artwork created using artificial intelligence (AI) generation tools is not permitted. All work must be designed and executed by the artist using their own skills and creativity.
Jury Criteria:
Work must be well-conceived and expertly executed and represented with high quality photos.
Originality and concept are essential.
Booth displays should be professional and polished.
Waitlist Policy
A waitlist is established based on jury scores in each category.
Waitlisted artists will be invited to participate as cancellations occur in their category.
Invitations can be extended up to the day before the show, with notifications sent via email.
Payment Information
Upon acceptance, booth fees must be submitted by August 3, 2026.

Additional Information
Artists retain 100% of their sales.
The Craft League of Champaign-Urbana, its officers, and agents are not responsible for accidental loss or damage.
Accepted CLCU members are required to assist with show promotion, such as distributing yard signs, postcards, posters, and other tasks needed during the show weekend.
Do not put carpet tape or other semi-permanent adhesives on floor or walls.
Do not use pins or other sharp objects to hang anything on walls or padding under hoops.
Please move vehicles to artist parking areas to allow customers closer access to parking.
